Prohibited & Illegal Items Policy (AUP)

🚨 Zero-Tolerance Policy: Selling illegal, counterfeit, or controlled items results in immediate permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement authorities.

In accordance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, merchants are strictly prohibited from listing, hosting, or selling:

1. Narcotics & Drugs: Cannabis, weed, ganja, psychotropic substances, or prescription drugs without licensed statutory retail permissions under the NDPS Act, 1985.

2. Weapons & Explosives: Firearms, ammunition, air guns, military knives, or hazardous explosive pyrotechnics under the Arms Act, 1959.

3. Adult & Obscene Material: Pornographic goods, sexually explicit products, or human escort services.

4. Counterfeit Currency & Financial Fraud: Fake bank notes, cloned debit/credit cards, hacked software, betting, or unregulated gambling.

5. Wildlife & Endangered Goods: Animal skins, ivory, rare species prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

6. Tobacco, Vapes & Alcohol: E-cigarettes, nicotine liquids, or unlicensed liquor.

Automated Platform Enforcement & Safe Harbor (IT Act Sec 79)

1. Automated AI Keyword Shield: Any listing containing prohibited terms is automatically rejected at the API level.

2. Notice & Takedown: If any illegal product is reported to grievance@dukaanbot.in, DukaanBot will disable the offending merchant within 24 hours and cooperate fully with Indian cybersecurity & police authorities.

3. Zero Platform Liability: DukaanBot operates strictly as a neutral technology intermediary. All legal, civil, and criminal liability rests entirely on the individual merchant who attempts to list unauthorized merchandise.
